National Tsing Hua University Student Internship Story Contest Guidelines
I、Purpose:
The Division of Career Development of the Office of Student Affairs of National Tsing Hua University (hereinafter referred to as the DCD) has formulated this brochure to enhance the atmosphere of industrial internships on campus, encourage students to share their industrial internship experiences and experiences through video and text solicitation, and provide opportunities for teachers and students to communicate and observe through selection, public display, etc.
II、Sponsor:The Division of Career Development.
III、Objects:
All current students (excluding exchange students and students in-service master programs) who have official student status in the school during the internship period and have participated in industrial internships (excluding teaching internships and educational internships) in the same off-campus internship institution for a cumulative total of 60 (inclusive) hours from October 1 of the year before the competition to September 15 of the current year.Entries may be submitted in either Chinese or English; only one language may be used, and each participant may submit only one entry.

V、Selection Method:
- Evaluation Criteria for the Preliminary and Secondary Review:
(1) Photos and text match well(20%)
(2) The most impressive story (30%)
(3) Reflection on the Internship Experience (25%)
(4) Impact on Future Career Development (25%)
- Final Round Evaluation Criteria:
(1) Presentation Structure and Storytelling(40%)
(2) Clarity and Fluency of Expression (30%)
(3) Stage Presence (30%)
- Selection process
(1) Qualification review: The organizer will review whether the entries meet the qualifications (Annex). If the entry materials are not qualified, no additional notification will be issued.
(2) Preliminary Review: The organizer will select the top 50% of submissions to advance to the Secondary Review.
(3) Secondary Review: The organizer will invite experts from various fields to form a review committee to evaluate the submissions. Up to 10 Merit Award recipients and several Honorable Mention recipients will be selected.
Note:Merit Award recipients are required to attend the “Final Round and Award Ceremony” on November 20, 2026, and deliver an on-site presentation sharing their internship experiences and reflections. The exact schedule will be announced separately. The list of award recipients will be announced on our official website and notified via email.
(4) Final Round: Merit Award recipients will deliver a 5-minute presentation in the Final Round to share their internship experiences and reflections. The organizer will invite judges to select the winners of the awards listed in Section VII (1)–(3) from among the Merit Award recipients, and the awards will be presented at the ceremony.

VI、Early Bird Submission Gifts:The first 50 submissions that pass the preliminary review will receive a 7-11 100 NTD gift card.
VII、Awards:
(1) First Place (1 winner):NT$7,000 and a certificate.
(2) Second Place (1 winner) : NT$6,000 and a certificate.
(3) Third Place (2 winners) : NT$5,000 and a certificate.
(4) Merit Award (up to 10 winners can be vacant) : NT$2,000 and a certificate.
(5) Honorable Mention (5 winners, up to 9 winners can be vacant) : NT$1,000 and a certificate.
Note:Finalists who attend and complete the on-site presentation in the final round will receive a commemorative gift.
The above awards will be publicly presented at the “Final Round and Award Ceremony,” and the list of award recipients will be announced on the official website of the organizer.
VIII、People’s Choice Award Voting Activity:
(1) On the day of the Final Round, a People’s Choice Award voting activity will be held. Audience members present at the venue will vote for their favorite finalist presenter. The presenter who receives the highest number of votes will be awarded the People’s Choice Award.
(2) Audience members who register in advance for the Final Round event and attend on the day of the event will be eligible to vote and will receive a participation gift.
(3) Audience members who complete the voting will be entered into a lucky draw. Three winners will be selected, and each will receive a small gift.
IX、Notices:
(1) Participants must hold full rights to their submitted works. At the time of the Eligibility Review, the works must not have received awards in any other competitions.
(2) When submitting entries, you agree to authorize the organizer free of charge to use pictures, explanatory text, and other related materials to produce audio-visual works (videos) and digital files to provide reproduction, retrieval, browsing, downloading, printing or sharing of results for non-profit purposes such as teaching, research and public services.
(3) The entries must be original by the person. The use of AI-generated content, collage, or composite works is strictly prohibited. If there is any plagiarism or counterfeiting, the entry will be disqualified. If the entry is an award-winning entry, the reward will be recovered. Any legal liability for any loss of the rights and interests of a third party shall be the responsibility of the entrant.
(4) To respect the internship institution or the person being photographed, please obtain the consent of the internship institution or the person being photographed in advance. Any legal liability for any loss of the rights and interests of a third party shall be the responsibility of the contestant.
(5) The same work (same person and same internship institution) has been submitted to this competition and is not allowed to participate again.
(6) Both Merit Award and Honorable Mention recipients will be invited to attend the “Final Round and Award Ceremony” in November. Only Merit Award recipients are required to deliver a 5-minute presentation during the Final Round. The presentation should include at least 3 slides and no more than 7 slides. Final rankings will be determined by the judges during the event.
(7) The internship reflections of all award recipients may be publicly shared in physical, digital, or audiovisual formats on platforms related to the organizer (such as the official website, Facebook, and Instagram). By participating, award recipients are deemed to grant National Tsing Hua University a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, archive, browse, download, print, and use the content for non-commercial purposes, including the dissemination of outcomes.
(8) If there are any unfinished matters, the organizer reserves the right to make changes, and the DCD will announce and regulate the matter.
X、These guidelines were approved by the Division of Career Development committee meeting, and any revisions shall be subject to the same approval procedure.
